A couple from our host church, Christian Character Ministries, is avidly excited about doing something great for God each and every day of their lives! Pat and Ana Tracy have set up this prototype in which they hope to take to Redemption Village in the coming year on a much larger scale. In fact, they have a large pond dug and are in the process of setting this small design to a larger scale. Basics…fish live in the pond… a green house is established over the pond…with plants living in a soilless environment having a continuous flow of fish-fertilized water bringing the necessary nutrients to the roots. We are hoping for the end result to be crops that can be grown year round thus making the dry season a potential for fresh food sources for the villages. Stay tuned for updates.
